This painting is one of nine that I did in three days. I never know when I come to the canvas what is being created, only that I am driven to apply paint instantly. Colors manifest without thought weaving their way as in "Tapestry" creating texture. When I think about texture it is always complex. The painting named itself "Tapestry" because aren't we all woven into life together? It is wired and ready.

“Pearls of Wisdom” as you can tell has a lot of vibrant red and bold gold. It even has pearls in it. In Feng Shui red and gold are powerful prosperity colors, and when used together promote wealth. This is a great painting to have in your home or office before the Luna New Year to attract wealth.

“Play with Me” had so much fun in “creating itself.!” Bright green background and speckles of gold, purple, pumpkin, red, plum highlighting the painting. I love using nail polish and seeing where the “balls” land too. “Play with Me” is sure to “joy up” any space.

I used a bread and butter knife as no palette knife available to create a “galaxy” explosion. Because I never know what is going to appear as I create, the painting names itself when I am done. The custom framing is a miracle in the framing world. “Surfing the Galaxy” is screwed onto the plexiglass - not glued. A remarkable achievement. It can “self-matt” bringing your particular wall covering into being the matt. It is a very unusual painting and there are no reproductions.

I painted “The Sweater” after making a sweater purchase. As you can imagine, a most colorful sweater! And, naturally the colors inspired me to paint. Never knowing what is coming up, this painting emerged in all its glory: vibrant and compelling. There is “dazzle” within the painting using a special glitter dust that highlights the bold, bright, rich colors. It is definitely one of a kind with quite a story behind it.

Each painting comes up on its own. I like to say “self created,” because I am mad with paint getting it to the canvas like a river determined to reach the ocean. Never knowing what is going to appear when painting is always curious to me. After the painting says it is done, I sit with it and see which way it wants to present itself. Next, the painting tells me what it would like to be called. This painting said "Imagine." In 2008 I was in the middle of the recession, and doing my best to imagine what steps I would take next. So, when "Imagine" came up, this painting became my touchstone to keep creating. ” Imagine “has been in my private collection for quite awhile. All my work is unframed and ready to hang. “Imagine “is saturated in bold, bright inspiring colors with diamond dust.
You may see birds as I do. Wings always inspire me. You may see many things that come together in a rich harmonious way. I hope you do, as it is time to release "Imagine," and let you Imagine.

I never know what is going to show up on my canvas. I begin painting and the canvas comes to life. The paintings title themselves always. And, the Universe seems to have a sense of humor with me. After a vacation in Sarasota, Florida, and returning home, I painted. Most of the time I paint upside down, or in a direction that is opposite to the way the painting wants to be in final form. The Keys are a a favorite place for me. The gorgeous colorful birds and variety inspire my being. So, I guess it is reasonable to say this painting that has been in my private collection since 2001, called itself "Vacation Birds." The lime green forms remind me of Parrots. The gift packing material I liked and decided to explore. Texture appeals to me in everything. Vacation Birds is wired and ready to fly the coop to a new location now.

They say when you paint your world opens up. And, this may be the case with my 2008 Dragon Tempest Fortune. I paint never knowing what will appear, only that paint is speaking to me to create, as a musician hears notes and must play. You may notice the pearls from a broken strand that were repurposed without warning. They seem to know where to go. I am never thinking about what to do or how to do, I am "in doing." This painting is a favorite of mine. Usually, my work is pure pigment, where this painting has a good portion of water to give it a "softer feel." "She" gave herself the name of Dragon Tempest Fortune. Sometimes, we have to slay the dragon to bring our fortune forth. The painting is wired and ready to breath forth new fortune.

Paint poured through me with every color I had before having to restock my supplies. I never know what is going to appear and this piece was painted horizontally. I was compelled to create Asian characters, that later upon completion, appeared to be flowers or rather Blooming Trumpets saturated in colors that jump off the canvas. Or, as one admirer said "They reach out and grab you." Blooming Trumpets is a focal point and will change with day and evening light. The colors are rich playing a melody to inspire the soul. Painted April 2020.

Never knowing what is coming up on the canvas with the brush or my hands is always a journey of self. "Passion Plus" asked me to experience more of my "yin" self. Usually, I have an overload of "yang" to "get things done." The red, orange, lavender, swirled together creating their conversation. I use real gold flakes through and love the richness and texture that gently, though, powerfully appear. "Passion Plus" is ready to hang and comes as you see it unframed. May you drink in Passion Plus, as it is time to let it go for me.

I was compelled to paint driven with the end of the paint brush creating endless circles over and over again in one continuous flow. You will notice how the painting graduates in harmonious color and the circle which is the protective covering of a paint jar is right where it is to be. Because I never know what is going to appear, I too am curious to see the completion. Afterwards, the title Beginning came up. When you look at the painting, there is no end. Or perhaps, you could say the end is always a new beginning.

I have never created a painting before like “Come Together Now.” As usual, I never know what is going to appear. This time I was compelled to grab a bag of colorful petite letters from a kids project several years ago, and wondering at the time, what I would do with them. The letters, hearts, and other objects are adhered to the paint one by one by one; a very time consuming process. Some of the letters create words you may notice like WFI or Happy, or you may see hearts. Whenever I complete the work, I sit with it and allow what it would like to be called to come to me. This time, loud and clear “Come Together Now” shouted out. And, with the Pandemic, I realized afterwards, Come Together Now is our theme. Though, I think the Beatles said it the best. The bright and bold letters stand out against the rich purple background. “Come Together Now” is playful, bold, bright and saturated with love and joy. It is wired and ships in a crate.

"The “West Dancer is definitely mixed media. I used Canadian goose feathers, packing material, paper towels., and other creative elements. I relate to the Navajo way of thinking, and as usual this painting created itself. The Navajo have a prayer “To Walk In Beauty” that I say daily. The background is a pink blush with colors of teal, white and gold. “West Dancer” is very special to me and has been in my private collection for years. Now I am letting go to add “more beauty” into your life.

Never knowing when I paint what is going to appear, I too, am curious to see where the path leads. I had my West Coast Opening at an Atherton estate on the market in September of 2004 with over 50 paintings Feng Shui by Linda Lenore in the gardens. The leaves in "Leavings" are from a gorgeous floral arrangement that included huge Hydrangeas. I kept them after the show and let them dry naturally. Then I sprayed them gold. I used some of the petals from the arrangement on this painting. This painting is very saturated in richness. I mixed paint to create this shade of bronze and then applied a gloss over. While the gloss was semi-dry I adhered one by one individual Hydrangea petals. Whew! It is ready to hang and comes to you unframed. You may like it as is, although a some frames are fabulous with it. "Leavings" has been in my private collection as you can tell for many years. It was the opening of my creativity here on the West Coast, and very special to me. Now it is finally time to have it leave me and find a new home.

I never know what is going to show up on the canvas. Paint pours through me creating a life of its own. This experience is rather funny in the outcome. After a seafood dinner I painted and experimented with some bubble wrap that was on the floor in my studio. After the brush was laid to rest, an Angel Fish appeared with friends - "Octopi." Take notice how the Diamond Dust creates movement.

Tibetan Sunset poured from me after seeing the 2003 movie The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise. I have no choice when I paint, the painting creates itself without thought, it just flows. The colors are soft, melting together (like sherbet) creating an absorbing and harmonious blending of spirit. Tibetan Sunset has been with me for some time and recently I've felt it is time to let go. It is captivating with the right lighting and meditative.

I was very much in love in 2005 and this painting reflects a certain playful movement. I had no idea where paint would take me as I moved in a flow of swirling colors; busy mixing paint to create the colors that wanted to appear. The shapes happened, and pearls and petite metal discs were grabbed automatically making placement. After the brush was laid to rest and I sat with the work, Bouncing Me was called forth. I certainly was bouncing forth in much happiness. It is way overdue to let go of "Bouncing Me." The painting is wired and ready to bounce its way into a new environment.

When I painted "Whirlpool," and several years later, a spiritual friend saw it, he said "you painted the Tree of Life." I said no, I painted Whirlpool. He said "same thing." This painting has been with me since 1997, and never thought I "could let go." Recently, I've felt it is time to bring "this energy" out into the world in a new home. Maybe, it is because of the Coronavirus, and I "feel" this painting could bring someone hope and prosperity with much joy and healing. The mixed media is really a mixed media. I used my bird - Sampson's sand gravel for texture. There are many, many layers and heavy paint applications by hand and brush. It is a heavy, wired painting. I never know what the canvas will show, only in paint movement, usually getting as much as I can onto the canvas without thought. I am grabbing color quickly. "Lapis" is blue and more blue; very much like the Lapis jewelry that I wear and love. There is much movement in the painting, almost like it is seeking relief, coming up for air before moving again. I explored using water, pouring on the canvas, and moving it with a hair dryer to see how the paint would move in this way. "Eternity" in my Artworks portfolio was done in the same technique. The painting is wired and saying it is time to move into a new environment now.

I created "Petal Passion" in the middle of a love relationship in 2005 with paint pouring out of me, never knowing what shapes or colors were to be used ahead of time. I mixed my acrylic colors to give a softer pallet and yet with the tiny gold particles it is bright and engaging. I use gold flakes and diamond dust and sometimes glitter. The painting is as you see it and ready to hang in a new home. I've held on to in fond memories of a loving time. Now, Petal Passion is to bring love and joy to new surroundings.

My paintings create themselves, for I am simply the "medium" in expressing. Mardi Gras was painted upside down. I am into a flurry of activity, not thinking of how to create, because I'm too busy letting my painting speak to me. I am not thinking about what colors to use, I am grabbing colors like someone drive to fulfill a need. When done, I look at the painting from different angles, and then it tells me "which way is up." The title Mardi Gras came into my head because of the explosion of fun. This painting was done in2004 and like a parent not wanting their child to go out into the world, I've held onto it, doing commissions and selling current work. Now Mardi Gras is ready to bring joy to "new parents." All wired and ready to say hello.

I never know what is appearing in the paint taking form without hesitation and thought. Soft colors flowed through me, which is unusual, as my work is vibrant and the paint is jumping off the canvas. “The Village” has a different message. When the brush was laid to rest, and I sat with it turning it one way and another, the "talking" side showed up and the title, “The Village. “ You may see people, as I do. I believe we all a part of a Village.

When I paint it is always a journey, never knowing where the path will lead me. I was into bold and engaging evidently at that moment grabbing and mixing paint to create "the flow." I love adding gold dust and gold particles to bring life to the experience of color. The work speaks to me afterwards as I sit with it seeing which way it wants to go and what name it would like to share with others. "My Yang" came up making me laugh. Couldn't tell if I had too much yang or needed more. The painting has been in my private collection to remind me sometimes "to get a move on." Now it is telling me to let go. "My Yang" is wired and ready to explore a new environment. In Feng Shui red and purple are used to bring more “fire,” in one’s life, and that is why “My Yang is part of the “Passion Collection.”

Strike Up The Band was included in the 60 paintings painted in 40 days when I began my career. It has been in my private collection as you can tell for a very long time. Because, I never know what is going to show up on the canvas, the painting happened with a life of its own. I used my love bird's sand gravel to create texture on the spot without thinking. All my paintings title themselves. It is stapled on the sides and wired. The teal, copper and azure blue with a dash of black create a harmonious rich playful texture. It is time to bring music into another home and let go, so may you have many high notes in your life with Strike Up The Band.

I created Breathing Green in 2008 after a three day workshop in the Santa Cruz Mountains. After arriving home that Sunday night I was compelled to paint, dipping my hands in the green paint I had mixed to acquire this color green, the green of life to me. There are no brush strokes, only my hands saturating the canvas. I never know what life the painting takes. Each painting creates itself. After painting, I sit getting to know what has appeared. This life force Green called out to me “Breathing Green.” The painting is wired and crate shipped.

In 1999 I was literally racing from one thing to another without pausing. I think because of the pace I was keeping up the natural thing was to paint “it out.” The colors are vibrant. They seem to speak to one another non-stop. “Racing” has been in my private collection for a long time, perhaps, to remind me to slow down. Now, I know how to race and how to pause in creating balance, so it is time for “Racing” to find a new home. The painting is wired and ready to compliment any room with a smile.

I love the ocean and this painting reflects the ever changing sea, though you may "feel" something different , and that is perfectly fine. The painting is created without reason and thought, only desire pouring through me, driven to create grabbing colors as I go. The vibrant blues play off one another with a laughter of a soft greenish blue swirling into the mix. Very seldom do I paint two of anything. I was commissioned to paint from a Rhode Island couple now living in Tiburon. After, I created their painting, I continued to paint, and “Seafoam” arrived. The painting is wired and long overdue to find a new environment. I am able to frequent the ocean now, so it is time to let go.
