In 1999 I was literally racing from one thing to another without pausing. I think because of the pace I was keeping up the natural thing was to paint “it out.” The colors are vibrant. They seem to speak to one another non-stop. “Racing” has been in my private collection for a long time, perhaps, to remind me to slow down. Now, I know how to race and how to pause in creating balance, so it is time for “Racing” to find a new home. The painting is wired and ready to compliment any room with a smile.
