I was very much in love in 2005 and this painting reflects a certain playful movement. I had no idea where paint would take me as I moved in a flow of swirling colors; busy mixing paint to create the colors that wanted to appear. The shapes happened, and pearls and petite metal discs were grabbed automatically making placement. After the brush was laid to rest and I sat with the work, Bouncing Me was called forth. I certainly was bouncing forth in much happiness. It is way overdue to let go of "Bouncing Me." The painting is wired and ready to bounce its way into a new environment.
