"Lapis"

I never know what the canvas will show, only in paint movement, usually getting as much as I can onto the canvas without thought. I am grabbing color quickly. "Lapis" is blue and more blue; very much like the Lapis jewelry that I wear and love. There is much movement in the painting, almost like it is seeking relief, coming up for air before moving again. I explored using water, pouring on the canvas, and moving it with a hair dryer to see how the paint would move in this way. "Eternity" in my Artworks portfolio was done in the same technique. The painting is wired and saying it is time to move into a new environment now.
