"My Yang"

When I paint it is always a journey, never knowing where the path will lead me. I was into bold and engaging evidently at that moment grabbing and mixing paint to create "the flow." I love adding gold dust and gold particles to bring life to the experience of color. The work speaks to me afterwards as I sit with it seeing which way it wants to go and what name it would like to share with others. "My Yang" came up making me laugh. Couldn't tell if I had too much yang or needed more. The painting has been in my private collection to remind me sometimes "to get a move on." Now it is telling me to let go. "My Yang" is wired and ready to explore a new environment. In Feng Shui red and purple are used to bring more “fire,” in one’s life, and that is why “My Yang is part of the “Passion Collection.”
