Each painting comes up on its own. I like to say “self created,” because I am mad with paint getting it to the canvas like a river determined to reach the ocean. Never knowing what is going to appear when painting is always curious to me. After the painting says it is done, I sit with it and see which way it wants to present itself. Next, the painting tells me what it would like to be called. This painting said "Imagine." In 2008 I was in the middle of the recession, and doing my best to imagine what steps I would take next. So, when "Imagine" came up, this painting became my touchstone to keep creating. ” Imagine “has been in my private collection for quite awhile. All my work is unframed and ready to hang. “Imagine “is saturated in bold, bright inspiring colors with diamond dust.
You may see birds as I do. Wings always inspire me. You may see many things that come together in a rich harmonious way. I hope you do, as it is time to release "Imagine," and let you Imagine.
