"Breathing Green"

I created Breathing Green in 2008 after a three day workshop in the Santa Cruz Mountains. After arriving home that Sunday night I was compelled to paint, dipping my hands in the green paint I had mixed to acquire this color green, the green of life to me. There are no brush strokes, only my hands saturating the canvas. I never know what life the painting takes. Each painting creates itself. After painting, I sit getting to know what has appeared. This life force Green called out to me “Breathing Green.” The painting is wired and crate shipped.
