Paint flowed through me onto the canvas creating as it always does with soft reds, oranges and golds. Upon putting down my brush,I left my painting resting , and gave it some time to let me know what it would like to be called. When I returned to my studio, I was amused at the transformation of my painting. You may notice a dog prancing upwards in front of a bush. My Norwegian Elkhound had licked the paint creating both designs. This painting is definitely “mixed media.” Elli passed away in 2010 and I’ve kept this painting too long. It is time to share “Elli Doesn’t Paint By Numbers” with others. The painting is wired and ready.
